Actuarial Expertise SoughtWe are seeking a seasoned actuary to spearhead our pricing strategies, leveraging deep technical expertise and leadership skills.
  • Pricing Strategies:
  • Design and review pricing strategies across various lines of business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate liability measurement
  • Drive capital modeling and reinsurance optimization
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams of actuarial analysts
Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development:
  • Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models
  • Perform annual and quarterly reserve analyses, proposing adjustments based on emerging trends
  • Partner with underwriting and finance teams to align pricing with risk appetite and profitability targets
  • Oversee regulatory filings and statutory valuations
  • Conduct experience studies and loss ratio analyses to refine assumptions
  • Guide capital adequacy assessments and stress testing for regulatory compliance
  • Present technical findings to senior stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Fellowship/Associateship:
  • All professional actuarial exams completed (IAI/IFoA/Equivalent)
  • Actuarial Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years in pricing, reserving, or capital modeling
  • Tools Proficiency:
  • Prophet, R, Python, SAS, SQL
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
  • IRDAI regulations, solvency frameworks, and reinsurance structures
  • Candidate Profile:
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven track record of influencing senior management and driving cross-functional initiatives
