About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Exadata Database Administrator to join our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and performing critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Main Responsibilities
  • You will develop and sustain multiple clients across various Oracle versions and platforms.
  • Your primary focus will be on ensuring operational readiness (security, health, and performance) for both on-premises and cloud-based Oracle environments.

To achieve these objectives, you will be required to:

  1. Implement and configure high availability and disaster recovery solutions using tools like RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  2. Tune database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools.
  3. Automate database operations using scripting tools such as Shell, Python, or Ansible.
  4. Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
  5. Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness across Exadata and OCI environments.
Required Experience and Skills
  • A minimum of 8 years of production database support experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments is essential.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems is necessary.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
