About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to play a key role in helping organisations harness the power of data to drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement efficient testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain test automation suites, ensuring high coverage and low maintenance costs.
  • Participate in Agile development environments, working closely with developers to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain and improve existing test automation infrastructure, including scripting languages (e.g., Java) and tooling (e.g., Jenkins).

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong focus on test engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, or other programming languages, with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.
  • Familiarity with Page Object Model, Hybrid, Data-driven, and other framework designs.
  • Mobile Automation expertise with Appium or similar tools.
  • API Testing & Automation knowledge with RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
  • CBTA (Component-Based Test Automation) knowledge and practical usage.
  • Strong understanding of STLC and ability to support functional/manual testing teams.
  • Proficiency in test management & defect tracking tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with POS system automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and testing microservices/containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to Playwright, TestCafe, or other modern automation tools.
