MEP Project Lead

The role of MEP Project Lead involves overseeing the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for high-performance data centre projects.

  • Design Development:
    • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within the MEP design using BIM tools.
    • Manage clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar platforms.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and ELV consultants to ensure design alignment.
    • Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Quality Management:
    • Ensure designs comply with Indian codes (NBC, IS standards) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE).
    • Perform quality checks on BIM models and drawings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in MEP design and coordination, preferably in data centre or mission-critical projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM tools: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of ELV systems and their integration with MEP.
  • Experience in managing design-build projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
