Job Role: Financial Accountant

The role of a financial accountant involves the accurate and timely maintenance of accounting records, including vouchers, bills, and tally accounts. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Voucher Maintenance: The financial accountant will be responsible for the proper maintenance of vouchers and bills, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Balance Sheet and Reconciliation: Preparation of balance sheets, bank reconciliation, and inter-branch reconciliation will be a key responsibility of this position.
  • Debtors and Creditors Reconciliation: The financial accountant will be responsible for debtors and creditors reconciliation, as well as maintaining journal vouchers.
  • Tax Compliance: Filing GST returns (GSTR-R1 & GSTR-3B) and TDS challan payment monthly and TDS filing will be a critical part of this role.
  • Pension Fund and Social Security Compliance: Knowledge of PF / ESIC challan submission is also required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience with financial software applications.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
