Finance Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Accountant to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation;
  • Monitor and report on cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs;
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses;
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit process;
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Provide financial guidance to management, ensuring informed decision-making;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to regulatory requirements;
  • Communicate financial information to stakeholders, both internally and externally;
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring business continuity;
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance;
  • Ensure accurate GST returns and TDS/TCS compliance;
  • Manage bank relations, ensuring efficient banking operations;
  • Handle supplier and customer queries, resolving issues promptly;
  • Conduct regular audits, identifying areas for improvement;
  • Develop and implement processes to improve financial efficiency;
  • Ensure accurate EPF and ESI compliance;
  • Prepare internal reports, providing insights into sales and customer orders;
  • Interact with government authorities, ensuring smooth compliance;
  • Assist in statutory audits and transfer pricing filings;
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, meeting deadlines;
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team, sharing knowledge and expertise;
  • Take ownership of projects, driving results-oriented outcomes;
  • Continuously update skills, staying current with industry developments;
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills;
  • Certifications: CA/CS/CMA preferred but not necessary;
  • Language: English fluency required;
