Job Description:

Sponsorship Leads are responsible for developing and executing sponsorship strategies for live events. This role involves identifying potential sponsors, building a robust pipeline, and converting opportunities into signed partnerships.

The Sponsorship Lead will craft compelling sponsorship proposals and packages aligned with brand objectives and event positioning. They will lead negotiations, contract closures, and relationship management with sponsors.

Collaboration with internal teams (event production, marketing, client servicing) is essential to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met.

The role also requires staying updated on market trends, competitor activities, and brand spends in the live events & experiential industry.

Revenue targets must be driven through sponsorship sales and ensuring repeat business.

The Sponsorship Lead represents the company in industry forums, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Events or a related field is necessary.
  • 10–15 years of experience in sponsorship sales/business development for live events, festivals, sports, entertainment, or media is required.
  • A strong network with brand decision-makers, agencies, and corporates is essential.
  • A proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship deals is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align sponsorship opportunities with brand objectives is essential.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are necessary.
