About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer who's passionate about coding and curious about product management. This is a great opportunity to deepen your backend development skills while gaining exposure to how product decisions are made.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to build integrations, debug live issues, read API docs, and contribute to our system infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Clean Code Write clean, efficient Java code and build scalable backend components
  • Read and Understand APIs Read and understand external API documentation to help build new integrations
  • Debug Production Issues Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations
  • Test and Validate APIs Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Translate Requirements into Technical Tasks Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Participate in Technical Discussions Take part in technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning
  • Build Robust APIs Build and maintain robust APIs to support integrations
  • Contribute to Automated Testing Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of backend development experience in Java
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management in the future
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git)
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work cross-functionally
