Linux Systems Administration Role

We are seeking an experienced Linux systems administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise Linux environment. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Linux systems, including installation, upgrades, and patches.
  • Provide level 3 support for Linux-related issues and escalate as necessary.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and meet business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Linux administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education or training.
  • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including command-line interfaces, file systems, and permissions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services and platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of network protocols and architecture.
