About Job Role:

At AdvaRisk, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to work on our flagship product AdvaSmart. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing. This role requires ownership of the end-to-end system and takes all requirements, issues, and enhancements to closure. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the automation framework and scripts for regression and continuous integration. The Quality Assurance Analyst will also be entrusted with mentoring other engineers, defining our technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the software designers to determine quality assurance parameters,
• Implement testing procedures under QA process,
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures,
• Conduct analysis checks on product specifications,
• Ensure the successful deployment of packages into respective environments,
• Execute tests on source code,
• Apply various designs and document the automation test strategy,
• Create an automation test plan and identify/select automation test cases,
• Configure test automation tools,
• Hands-on knowledge of Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE),
• Automate the design of a framework and implement it as per the project structure,
• Create, enhance, debug, and run test cases,
• Collate and monitor the defect management process,
• Manage changes and execute regression tests,
• Mentor and review peer codes.

Expectations/Technical Requirements:

• Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech,
• Overall 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing,
• Hands-on experience of 3+ years in Manual Testing and 1-2+ years of experience in Automation Testing using Robot framework with Python,
• Good to have developed automation framework from scratch,
• Prior experience in devising optimal test strategy (including functional, non-functional, analytics, and automation) and test plans for short-term and long-term projects,
• Analytical ability to understand and work with complex application architecture,
• Well-versed in Functional Automation - Web and API,
• Knowledge of API testing and automation with Rest Assured,
• Strong API testing and debugging skills,
• Understands front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3,
• Experience in test automation and test framework/tools (Junit, TestNG, Selenium, etc) is a must-have,
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, etc is a plus,
• Experience in Agile methodologies,
• Keen inclination towards usability and end-user perspective of the application we build,
• Own QA Processes in scrums. Estimate and plan projects with accuracy.
