Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial accounting activities at our location are performed efficiently for customers in North America/EMEA Regions. As a key member of the GFSS Pune team, you will be responsible for supporting the Plant Controller by guaranteeing that RTR activities are executed accurately and efficiently. This involves monitoring and analyzing accounting data to ensure compliance with Eaton Financial Policies, legal requirements, GAAP, and agreed SLAs with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and processes (RTR, OTC & PTP) with a focus on managing Intercompany accounting in the RTR function.
  • Ensure accurate and timely book closes: monthly, quarterly, and year-end.
  • Timely report all monthly financial information, including IC OOB analysis and resolution.
  • Implement and drive a Zero Gap culture in the process by proactively identifying and remediating risks.
  • Closely work with auditors and be responsible for closure of all internal audit/SOX gaps identified.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Education:
  • Accounting degree (CA) or MBA-Finance with majors in accounting/finance.
Experience:
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience, mainly in people management.
Skill Set:
  • End-to-end process knowledge for GL/FA.
  • Good understanding of OTC and PTP encompassing overall accounting.
  • Experience of Oracle or SAP ERP.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Exposure to SOX and similar regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). Knowledge on Excel Macro, Power BI, and Power Query is preferred.
