Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior technical accounting leader to spearhead our accounting advisory group. This key member will work closely with clients to provide expert technical guidance and support.
- Lead complex financial reporting and technical accounting projects, including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and debt/equity private placements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Accountabilities- Provide authoritative technical accounting guidance and support to clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Conduct detailed revenue analysis and recognition, equity stock compensation, and EPS calculations.
- Draft or review complex financial statements, disclosures, and SEC comment letter responses.
- Identify and apply relevant technical accounting guidance under US GAAP, including leases, business combinations, foreign currencies, and capitalization of internal use software and website development costs.
- Manage multiple projects, coach engagement teams, and own client relationships.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of public accounting and industry experience required (minimum of 3 years in public accounting).
- Rated top 25% of Big Four class, CPA license preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
- Experience and familiarity with broad range of industries, including tech, biotech, and life sciences.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
