Financial Performance Specialist

The Financial Performance Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing financial support to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project teams in all financial areas related to clinical trials, including preparing monthly invoicing worksheets and analyzing variance reports to identify gaps and changes in scope.
  • Review work orders and budgets for out-of-scope activities, providing financial insights to the Manager of Finance and Vice President of Finance during contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial closes and reporting of all financial information.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives, responding to inquiries from senior finance executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience in accounting discipline.
  • 5+ years of general ledger and financial reporting experience, including expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and Earned Value Analysis.
