Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our fabric manufacturing unit. This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, strong team management skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing overall operations, production efficiency, supply chain, and quality control. They will also be accountable for driving profitability by optimising operational efficiency, cost control, capacity utilisation, and waste reduction.

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of the manufacturing unit including production planning, procurement, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.
  • Drive profitability by optimising operational efficiency, cost control, capacity utilisation, and waste reduction.
  • Take full P&L ownership of the unit and be responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field.
  • At least 20 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the textile or fabric industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, raw material procurement, and quality systems.
  • Excellent analytic, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
