Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our fabric manufacturing unit End-to-End responsibility for managing operations production efficiency supply chain quality compliance and profitability As a strategic partner to the MD the incoming leader will be accountable for driving operational excellence implementing best practices and ensuring sustainable growth with full P L accountability Lead and manage all operational aspects of the manufacturing unit including production planning procurement quality control logistics and maintenance Drive profitability by optimising operational efficiency cost control capacity utilisation and waste reduction Take full P L ownership of the unit and be responsible for achieving revenue margin and EBITDA targets Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company s goals and growth plans Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial performance analysis for the manufacturing unit Ensure strict adherence to quality standards safety norms and regulatory compliance Collaborate closely with R D marketing and sales teams to align production capabilities with market demands Champion continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing Six Sigma and digital automation Lead mentor and build a high-performing team across departments to create a performance-driven culture Manage vendor relationships raw material sourcing and cost-effective supply chain strategies Leadership Role which reports into the Manufacturing Director Responsible for Managing overall Operations Production Efficiency Supply Chain Bachelor s degree in Engineering Textile Technology or related field MBA or post-graduate qualification is a plus 20 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations preferably in the textile or fabric industry Proven track record of managing large-scale operations with full P L responsibility Strong leadership strategic thinking and team management skills Deep understanding of manufacturing processes machinery raw material procurement and quality systems Excellent analytic financial and problem-solving capabilities Our client is a large textile manufacturer with dedicated manufacturing facilities and a Product Development Centre in India and are well known for their fabrics state of the art infrastructure and Innovation Leadership Role
