Job Description

As a data migration professional, you will be responsible for leading data migration projects and ensuring seamless transitions between legacy and new systems.

  • Perform or ensure timely completion of data cleansing tasks to guarantee accurate data transfer.
  • Collect and validate data for manual/construction objects on time to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings that meet business requirements.
  • Create and maintain master lists for assigned objects as needed to facilitate efficient data management.
  • Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects.
  • Work together with the IT team and country business owners to identify objects in scope for country-specific projects.
  • Ensure data readiness and verify quality throughout the data journey for assigned data objects.
  • Verify that data is fit for purpose (including alignment with internal/external stakeholders).
  • Approve upload files before and after load for all assigned data objects (including formal approval).
  • Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects.
  • Maintain dual controls and perform data verification scripts to ensure data integrity.
  • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for assigned objects as part of defect management during Hypercare.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field preferred.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Complete data cleansing for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on the given data migration schedule.
  • Complete data loads for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on the given data migration schedule.
  • Resolve all major issues related to data quality for relevant data objects based on the given project(s) schedule.

Technical/Functional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge about Direct and Indirect Procurement business processes in the area of Material management, Vendor master, Supplier Contracts, PO lifecycle.
