Job Title:

Solar Operations and Maintenance Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Solar Operations and Maintenance Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of solar plants across India. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar facilities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Monitoring & Gap Analysis: Track the performance of multiple solar plants, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Multi-site Coordination: Liaise with site in-charges for day-to-day operations, issue resolution, and implementation of best practices across all sites.
  • Team Development: Support recruitment, training, and retention of site O&M teams to maintain high productivity and engagement levels.
  • Project Handover/Takeover: Ensure smooth transitions, following defined scopes and protocols.
  • MIS & Documentation: Manage weekly/monthly reports, documentation, invoicing, vendor bill verification, and ERP approvals.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and onboard quality local vendors to optimize O&M costs without compromising service quality.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B.E. in Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC)
  • Experience: 7–10 years of overall experience with min. 5 years in Solar O&M as middle level management. Experience with 33kV substations, transmission lines, and related troubleshooting is preferred.
