Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various UK projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health, and education.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of written and verbal English, with experience in road/highway drainage design for infrastructure projects. They will also be proficient in software such as Micro Drainage/InfoDrainage/Sewer GEMS/Civil 3d, and have a good understanding of UK/international project experience, particularly in the application of standards similar to DMRB, Sewers for adoption, UK DCG, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of Detailed Drainage Designs: The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed drainge designs and construction drawings for various UK projects.
  • Hydraulic Modelling and Hydrological Analysis: They will need to perform hydraulic modelling and hydrological analysis to ensure that the drainage systems meet the required standards.
  • SuDS Features: The candidate will also be responsible for designing and modelling drainage networks (2d/3d) including SuDS features.
  • Problem Solving and Originality: They will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and originality in their approach to drainage design.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Good command of written and verbal English is essential for this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel is expected, as well as experience in software such as Micro Drainage/InfoDrainage/Sewer GEMS/Civil 3d.
  • Project Experience: UK/international project experience is preferred, particularly in the application of standards similar to DMRB, Sewers for adoption, UK DCG, etc.
