This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced software architect to contribute their expertise in developing complex software systems, maximizing component reusability, and ensuring robustness in autonomous driving landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-level and detailed software designs, decomposing them into smaller components while collaborating with junior engineers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Develop complex software functionalities to satisfy design objectives, focusing on API design for extensibility and portability across multiple implementations.
  • Communicate effectively with global teams within JLR, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration through presentations and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in application design and development, with at least 3+ years focused on low-level design, implementation, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++ and strong understanding of Agile SW development process.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR based Communication and Diagnostic stack, as well as experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns, including ISO26262 compliance.
