Back End Developer Role

As a high-scale product builder, you will design and engineer the backend infrastructure that powers our Next.js/Vercel platform.

  • Owning and optimizing AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, Kinesis) for resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency is key to success.
  • You will be responsible for building high-performance applications using Node.js and Python, prioritizing speed and reliability.

The ideal candidate has advanced AWS skills with Terraform/CDK and proven experience in cost optimization at scale.

What You'll Do
  • Own the development of our WordPress CMS pipelines to ensure robust content delivery.
  • Drive web performance optimization—debug bottlenecks, fine-tune APIs, manage caching/CDN, and deliver consistently fast experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and product leads to ensure uptime, infra budgets, SLAs, and monitoring alerts.

What We Seek
  • Advanced AWS expertise with Terraform/CDK and real-world debugging experience.
  • Strong backend skills: Node.js, Python, modern database systems.

  • 4+ years in software development (consumer products preferred).
  • Curiosity and adaptability with Next.js and Vercel (or intent to learn).
