Job Summary:

Bluebird Care is seeking a skilled Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising Care Assistants to ensure that customers receive high-quality care and support in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise Care Assistants to ensure that care is delivered safely and in line with customer care plans.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in conducting field supervision and competency checks.
  • Liaise with the Registered Manager to ensure the right number of Care Assistants are recruited to meet business needs.
  • Process new customer referrals and assess and bring on new clients.
  • Monitor and adjust rotas to ensure sufficient cover for customers.
  • Supervise and train Care Assistants to maintain their skills and knowledge.
  • Distribute staff rotas and maintain up-to-date electronic and handwritten records.
  • Work with the office team to maintain accurate records and use systems to monitor mileage and travel distances.
  • Keep customer information secure and confidential.
  • Carry out general office duties and prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in providing care.
  • 1 year of experience in care coordinating or supervision.
  • Driving Licence.
  • United Kingdom work authorisation.

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
