The Interior Cockpit Engineer will be responsible for leadership of the sub systems and deliverables for all aspects of defined component(s) / system(s) within the Cockpit Console commodities and Interior Trims.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Establish, plan and run engineering sub system meetings to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas.">
  • Ensure progression of design maturity from initial concept through to Engineering Sign-Off and design gateways.">
  • Establish and maintain teamwork plans aligned to vehicle program.">
  • Ensure Regulatory compliance of system, sub-system and components.">
  • Define engineering targets to meet function, quality & attribute requirements for the Vehicle Program.">

Requirements

">
  • ">
  • BE/B. Tech or ME in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.">
  • Proven project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery in line with time, cost, quality & attribute targets.">
  • Proven and extensive experience in right first-time development and integration of at least one of the following – Cockpit Console commodities and Interior Trims.">
  • Detailed Engineering knowledge of design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.">
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrable ability of communicating with cross functional teams and influencing at all levels.">
  • PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel.">
  • Significant experience in use of engineering tools - FMEA, Agile or Scrum.">
