Electrical Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of electrical projects, including low-voltage, medium-voltage, and high-voltage systems.
  • Study technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and general arrangement drawings (GA) to ensure compliance with customer and IEC/IS standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare project schedules, material submittals, and progress reports.
  • Supervise electrical assembly, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site acceptance testing (SAT).
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials and components.
  • Conduct site coordination for installation, cable termination, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or on-site issues related to protection schemes or interlocking.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and project-specific quality norms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 27 years of experience in project execution or design of LV/MV/HV switchgear panels.
  • Hands-on knowledge of electrical components and protection devices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IEC, IS, or IEEE standards.
  • Familiarity with protection relays (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, MS Project/Primavera, and testing tools (megger, primary/secondary injection kits).
  • Good communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently at project sites or client locations.
