Production Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Production Machinist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for handling entire CNC VMC operations using Mastercam software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sound knowledge of Drawing Interpretation is required.
  • Able to read and modify G-Code and program in Mastercam.
  • Perform Setup, load and set tools, and modify tools offsets with precision.
  • Work collaboratively in Group and team environments.
  • Deliver high-quality products with attention to detail and meticulousness.

The successful candidate will write CNC programs in Mastercam to produce accurate and high-quality parts, create, load, edit, and store CNC programs. Additionally, they will perform basic and complex setups of machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tools, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.

Possible duties include: producing machined components and products on both CNC and manual machine shop equipment, lathe, and mills; reducing production failure and improving yields; maintaining the standard production schedule and quality; performing routine cleaning and maintenance; performing milling, turning, drilling, tapping, sawing, and sanding tasks; assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal parts; and performing final operations, including de-burring, cleaning, and inspecting parts.

This position requires close coordination with the QC and planning department and reports directly to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5-6 Years of experience in machine tools occupation, including CNC machines, milling, lathe, saws, and various machine shop tools.
  • Proficient in Mastercam software and CNC VMC machining processes.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
