Job Opportunity:

The role of an Automation Engineer entails designing and developing automation/performance solutions to meet organizational standards. This includes building reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
  • Executing test cases and analyzing and reporting test results to the teams
  • Collaborating with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality
  • Leading testing efforts, planning the work of other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines
  • Creating tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software testing experience in all phases of testing including test planning, test execution and test closure
  • Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture
  • Distributed source control systems such as Git

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester
  • Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required
