Automation Specialist Sought

We are on the hunt for a skilled Automation Specialist to help us develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework. If you have strong expertise in UI and API test automation, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be able to design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks. You should also be able to collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage. Additionally, you will execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is also key to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
  • Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
