Collections Specialist

Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for negotiating payment schedules with customers and ensuring timely payments.
  • You will also track portfolios, manage delinquencies, and provide exceptional customer service regarding collection issues.
  • Your primary focus will be on maintaining customer account details, making customer calls, and resolving discrepancies.
  • You will work closely with the agency's tracing team to trace defaulters and assets, and suggest remedial courses of action.
  • Additionally, you will identify defaulting accounts, investigate reasons for default, and maintain healthy relationships with customers.
  • In some cases, you may enlist the support of sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process.
  • Finally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the field is required for this position.

Responsibilities: Negotiate payment schedules, track portfolios, provide customer service, resolve discrepancies, work with tracing team, identify defaulting accounts, and ensure compliance with regulations.
