About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned data architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale data solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong architectural vision to drive robust, scalable, and high-performance data ecosystems that support advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data science use cases.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define data architecture strategies, ensure data governance & quality, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture & Design
    • Design, implement, and maintain data lakehouse architectures leveraging cloud data platforms.
    • Architect and optimize data warehouse solutions for high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
    • Develop data models that support enterprise-level analytics and reporting requirements.
    • Apply data classification, taxonomy, ontology, and metadata management best practices.
  • Data Engineering & Pipelines
    • Lead the development of ETL/ELT pipelines using data engineering frameworks.
    • Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions from multiple sources.
    • Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.
  • Governance, Security & Compliance
    • Establish data governance standards and leverage role-based access control.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational data privacy policies.
    • Implement master data management strategies.
  • Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
    • Partner with data science teams to enable advanced analytics workloads.
    • Translate complex architectural concepts into clear business-oriented communication.
    • Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance.
  • Technology Evaluation & Innovation
    • Evaluate emerging data technologies and their applicability in solving business problems.
    • Champion DevOps and DataOps best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

9+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in managing data lakehouse environments and modern cloud data platforms.

Strong experience in:

Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Snowflake Architecture, Data Modelling, DBT.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
