Our organization is seeking an experienced Data Tester to join our Data and Analytics team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automated SQL testing, particularly with a focus on data validation and transformation logic. Proficiency in ETL testing, especially with SSIS, is also highly desirable.

Key responsibilities for this position include designing and developing automated SQL test cases to validate data transformations and quality, performing end-to-end testing of ETL processes using primarily SSIS and other Microsoft BI tools, collaborating with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment, identifying and tracking defects and inconsistencies in data, and contributing to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.

Required skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • Strong experience in Automated SQL testing with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in ETL testing, particularly with SSIS.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
