Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager, Molding to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our molding facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Scheduling, Monitoring, Reporting & MIS
  • Productivity Improvements through process optimization and employee training
  • Preparing Process Parameters and other Process Documents to ensure compliance with quality systems
  • Manpower allocation and people development to achieve optimal productivity
  • Ensuring adherence to quality systems (TS and EMS) and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Managing Secondary operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance of molding machines
  • Troubleshooting molding issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Training a team and mentoring them towards optimum productivity and knowledge sharing
  • Optimizing/improving molding cycle time through process improvements and equipment upgrades
  • Analyzing customer complaints, in-process rejections and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality
  • Fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Hands-on experience in running injection molding machines and accessories, with a focus on efficient use and maintenance
  • Capable in new tool trials for plastic parts and different types of plastic material processing
  • Reconciling RM/WIP stocks at the month end to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment while working and reporting near miss incidents immediately
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in molding operations, preferably in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of improving productivity and reducing costs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
