Job Description

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of experience in GIS software, data management, and cartography.

The successful candidate will develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products. They will collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources, creating high-quality maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.

The role involves conducting spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis. The candidate will collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and data scientists to integrate GIS technology into workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources (satellite imagery, aerial photographs, maps, etc.).
  • Create high-quality maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
  • Conduct spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide spatial insights and support decision-making processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
  • Experience in Basemap Digitization Projects, geospatial analysis, data management, and cartography.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
