We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of a Cost Estimator. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of industry requirements for all outside plant engineering and construction needs, as well as possess the expertise to accurately price projects.

Job Description:
  • Review customer provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a thorough understanding including project scope, RFP response requirements, project specifications, project schedule, and customer objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive estimate and bid preparation templates tailored to each RFP project.
  • Utilize advanced proficiency in Excel to build cost breakdowns, high-level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms pricing sheets for RFP submittals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry.
  • Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong passion for the industry and a drive for excellence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
