Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with expertise in GCP and ETL to join our team.

This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires 4+ years of experience in the field.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing concepts, database management systems, and cloud-based data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines using GCP Cloud services such as GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Build efficient ETL workflows using Python or Java, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement data ingestion strategies for both batch and streaming data, ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouses, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Requirements:
  • Expert-level knowledge of GCP Cloud services, including GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java, with experience in developing scalable data processing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL, and data visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data processing issues and implement effective solutions.
