We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Government Relations Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with government departments, ministries, and research institutions.
This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleIn this dynamic position, you will:
- Nurture relationships with key government stakeholders to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Oversee the coordination of government internships, including student placements and orientation programs.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- A postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Governance, or a related field from a reputable institution is essential.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with government departments, ministries, or the public sector as clients is required.
- Liaising experience with government offices is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, is also required.
