Pharmacist Job Opportunity in Surat

Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Surat, Gujarat, India. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in monitoring customers' drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.

You will also be responsible for instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications, conducting health and wellness screenings, and providing immunizations and other medical services such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. Additionally, you will be required to complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy's inventory.

We are looking for an individual who is well-versed in applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice and can perform other administrative tasks when needed.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

- A degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
