Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production unit in Ahmedabad, India.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely output, supervising job placement and material flow, designing and executing layout plans, maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and collaborating with Research and Development (R&D) and design teams.

  • Lead and oversee all manufacturing activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.
  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly.
  • Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records.
  • Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain.
  • Closely collaborate with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.
  • Monitor manufacturing costs and resource utilization to meet predefined goals.
  • Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficient in managing manufacturing machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • Solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
