We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing standards, guidelines, and processes used to maintain common, firm-wide data standards to protect our critical information assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strategies that increase the consistency and confidence of data used for decision-making, improving knowledge firm-wide.
  2. Govern related activities primarily within one discipline and serve as a recognized expert.
  3. Build and sustain relationships and lines of communication with key business and technology subject matter experts to drive efforts to measurable, successful conclusions.
  4. Perform impact analysis of regulatory, business, and system changes to data governance and data management programs and initiatives, data domains, and relevant data governance policies and procedures.
  5. Oversee the execution of process improvements, revisions to documentation, training, and/or communication materials to support the area of specialization.
  6. Create enterprise and LOB level KPIs and metrics related to the area of specialization.
  7. Drive the development of business-oriented training materials for data owners, Business Stewards, and key constituents.
  8. Ensure materials are current and lead the execution of any changes, providing training on the area of specialization to various audiences.
  9. Consult with TOC and BUPOC project teams as a subject matter expert.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically has 8-12 years of related experience.
  • Champion enterprise adoption of data quality framework by maturing adoption, measuring, and improving data health.
  • Sound knowledge of RDMS systems like Oracle, MS SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Ensure critical datasets are trusted and onboarded to DQM framework.
  • Support data programs related to migrations, analytics, regulatory reporting with analysis, sourcing, and availability.
  • Define and negotiate appropriate data validation controls and drive iterative data remediation efforts between data producers and consumers.
  • Build reliable and scalable data quality solutions.
  • Design KPIs and monitor data quality within enterprise repositories to identify trends, generate reports, and dashboards with actionable insights.
  • Develop communication and reference materials that facilitate education and adoption of DQM framework.
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or field.

  • Good to have experience on Python development with exposure to Pandas.
  • Experience working on AWS (Lambda/ECS/Event bridge) PaaS environments.
