Job Title: Global Trade Expert

We are seeking a skilled Global Trade Expert to manage end-to-end import logistics, including accruing freight charges, submitting Importer Security Filings (ISF) and customs entries to US Customs, tracking shipment departures and arrivals, generating delivery orders for container pickups, and performing additional tasks as required to support smooth import operations.

About the Role:

The Imports Team is responsible for coordinating trade operations across various regions, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in global trade, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately calculate charges and rates for imported materials from different countries to destinations worldwide.
  • Prepare and submit ISF and customs entries to US Customs for all shipments.
  • Monitor shipment departures and arrivals, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Create delivery orders for container pickups at ports, facilitating seamless transportation of goods.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of our trade operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in global trade or a related field.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems through data-driven decision making.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex trade concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of trade operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
