Job Title: DevOps Architect

At Avensys Consulting PVT LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud and on-prem architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud and on-prem architecture solutions that meet business requirements and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Design and compare different types of architecture for solutions like containerized, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
  • Perform capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Engage closely with architects, software engineers, and operations teams to deliver highly available and scalable services.
  • Drive root cause analysis and risk management processes to ensure the stability and security of our systems.
  • Evaluate third-party products and specifications to ensure they meet our business needs.
  • Provide estimations of work based on requirements and educate others on areas of expertise.
  • Analyze, identify, and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs for public cloud migration.
  • Create infrastructure diagrams, network diagrams, and cloud diagrams to demonstrate proposed solutions.
  • Design and maintain proper backup and restore processes with disaster recovery.
  • Design and maintain secure applications and implement security around the application using network security, data security, and WAF.
  • Automate regular and repeated operations using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Configure management using IaC tools and handle multiple applications independently.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in data storage to know when to use a file system, relational database, or NoSQL variant.
  • Knowledge of various storage management solutions like Portworx and Rook-Ceph.
  • Experience in any cloud technology (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with on-prem and cloud monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Expert in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience in the integration of Enterprise and Consumer applications and platforms.
  • Experience of working with OpenSource frameworks like CloudFoundry and Cloudify.
  • Expert knowledge of databases both RDBMS and NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB, Aurora, and PostgreSQL in HA deployments).
  • Expert in any scripting language.
  • Expert in both on-prem and cloud networking.
  • Expert in both on-prem and cloud security implementation.
  • Expert in Disaster Recovery, backup, and restoring database and applications.
