Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at FreeCharge. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the necessary cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of our web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operation of development and deployment pipelines
  • Automate and streamline build, test, and release processes
  • Monitor performance and security of applications and identify areas for optimization and improvement

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Core and Managed Services, including VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, EKS, Cloudfront, and Elasticsearch
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and comfortable with coding or scripting in Python, Shell/Bash Scripting
  • Experience with configuration management using Ansible and IaaC using Terraform/Cloudformation

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with EFK and Dynatrace
  • Understanding of Serverless Architecture
  • Openness to learning new tools and technologies

  • Automation: Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation (Must)
  • Logging: ELK, EFK (Must)
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Prometheus, any other inhouse tool
  • Visualizer: Grafana, Kibana
  • Containers: Docker (Moderate Level)
  • Container Management: Kubernetes (AWS EKS) (Must), AWS ECS, Helm (Must)
  • Container Networking: Istio (Must), AWS Service Mesh, Calico
  • Programming/Scripting: Bash Scripting, Python, Jenkins Pipeline Groovy (All Must)
  • Web Server: Apache/Ngnix (Must)
  • Load Balancer: AWS-ELB/AWS-ALB/Ngnix+/HA-Proxy
  • Database: MySql, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSql
  • Source code Management: GitHub/Bitbucket
  • Version Control: GIT (Must)
