Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Cash Recovery Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Cash Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the bank's receivables, developing strategies to improve collection efficiency, and resolving customer complaints and issues related to payments. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the branch's receivables team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop Collection Strategies: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the bank's receivables, develop strategies to improve collection efficiency, and implement these strategies across the business.
  3. Resolve Customer Complaints: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and issues related to payments, providing high-quality service and support to customers at all times.
  4. Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that accurate records and reports of all transactions and interactions with customers are maintained, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Banking Regulations: Strong knowledge of banking regulations and laws.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Software Applications: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
