Accountant Job Description

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and organized accounting professional to manage the financial aspects of our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, meeting timely delivery requirements, and ensuring accurate data entry into customer invoicing systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
  • Meet invoice delivery timelines.
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites.
  • Submit invoices electronically via data interchange.
  • Understand customer-specific invoicing procedures.
  • Verify accuracy of invoice details prior to submission.
  • Maintain supporting documentation and backups.
  • Update invoice submission status in Navision.
  • Record and maintain invoice logs and process files.
  • Collaborate with payroll and invoicing teams to expedite the invoicing process.
  • Send statements of account to customers.
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets.
  • Resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
  • Manage handlings of invoice rejections, credits, and rebills.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the accounting team.
