Job Overview:

The Canvas Expert develops and maintains high-quality courses on the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless learning experiences. Key responsibilities include course content creation, formatting, and organization according to instructional design specifications.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain courses in Canvas LMS, adhering to instructional design guidelines.


• Create, format, and organize content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents based on design document guidelines and accessibility standards.


• Manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.


• Build/edit content on Content Management System (CMS).


• Conduct QA and QC reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.


• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.


• Deliver projects on time and ensure they meet high-quality benchmarks.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in technology


• 1-4 years of working knowledge on HTML


• Experience working on Canvas LMS and/or CMS is a plus


• Basic knowledge of CSS, JS, and accessibility standards for course design


• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and authoring tools like Articulate 360 and H5P


• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills


• Good communication and collaboration skills


• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
