Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to design and build guardrails for LLMs, focusing on prompt injection protection, toxicity/bias detection, and hallucination/jailbreak identification.
  • The ideal candidate will develop evaluation frameworks to monitor LLM safety, fairness, and compliance.
  • This role involves building automated pipelines using Python and SQL to process, tag, and evaluate LLM outputs.
  • Leveraging vector databases and embeddings is crucial in detecting unsafe content or model drift.
  • The selected individual will create internal dashboards and visualizations using Streamlit, Dash, or React/JS.
  • Collaboration with ML engineers and product teams is essential in integrating LLM safety components into production APIs or applications.
  • Staying current with AI safety research, emerging tools (Ragas, LangChain, Guardrails.ai), and regulatory standards is mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • This position requires developing skills in data science, applied machine learning, or large language model-based applications.
  • Enhancing programming skills in Python and experience writing SQL for data exploration or feature engineering is necessary.
  • Understanding NLP, deep learning (CNN/RNN/Transformers), and LLM architectures is crucial.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, LLM APIs, and vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma) is vital.
  • Familiarity with front-end basics (Streamlit, Dash, or simple HTML/CSS/JS) is beneficial.
  • Experience with model evaluation, red-teaming, or safety interventions in NLP/LLM systems is preferred.
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with deploying ML pipelines in production (Docker, FastAPI) and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment is advantageous.
