Job Description

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization's database management endeavors. Your expertise in Azure and MS-SQL Administration will be instrumental in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of data for various applications. This includes provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines, as well as sizing, scaling, and automating database resources.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have 8+ years of experience working with Azure and MS-SQL databases
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing HA/DR strategies, including Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and failover groups
  • Expertise in database security principles and implementation, as well as proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks
