Workday Functional Consultant Job Description

Mercer Digital is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant to join our India COE. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end Workday solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prioritize work, assist leads in delivery lifecycle, and report status/impediments.
  • Manage small implementation projects, lead teams, and provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.
  • Develop complex configurations, manage data transformation, and perform EIB Data loads.
  • Lead data conversion activities for Absence/ Time Tracking/ Benefits/ HCM/ Compensation/ Recruiting/ Talent and Performance / Payroll.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical and functional skills across Workday modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to learn new skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements, design Workday solutions, and conduct client sessions.
  • Configure Workday based on client needs and perform self-reviews and smoke testing.
  • Provide application testing, production support, and migration activities.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, identify issue resolution, and develop communication plans.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday and overall 12 years' experience minimum.
  • B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc degree.
