Artificial Intelligence Engineering Role

T3 is a leading market player in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Responsible AI.

We are expanding into innovative solutions at the intersection of Responsible AI and GRC — collaborating closely with regulators, standards bodies, and highly regulated industries to establish best practices for trustworthy AI.

The Position

This role will be responsible for shaping the architecture of new systems, integrating open-source AI testing and assurance libraries, and delivering lightweight, portable solutions in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Development
    • Define and lead the architecture of new systems, focusing on back-end, APIs, and lightweight front-end.
    • Integrate open-source AI testing and assurance libraries into deployable frameworks.
    • Deliver scalable solutions in cloud environments.
  • AI Model Validation
    • Develop and rigorously test models against fairness, robustness, explainability, and governance principles.
    • Implement reproducible pipelines for evaluation, benchmarking, and reporting.
    • Create dashboards and artefacts suitable for supervisors, standards bodies, and clients.
  • Collaboration and Growth
    • Partner with global Responsible AI leaders who have shaped prominent regulatory frameworks.
    • Translate complex governance and compliance requirements into practical engineering-led solutions.
    • Contribute to pilots, client delivery, and the long-term technical roadmap of T3's solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record building, training, and evaluating AI/ML models in industry or advanced academic projects.
  • Experience developing or integrating AI testing and assurance tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI libraries.
  • Experience with cloud computing and knowledge of scaling, training, and deployment of AI models.
  • Awareness of Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on familiarity with explainability and fairness tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to operate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity, self-drive, and ambition to grow into a senior technical leadership role.
