Job Overview:

  • We're looking for a talented mechanical engineer to design innovative sensor products from concept to production.
  • The ideal candidate will engage with customers to understand their needs and design products that meet market requirements.
  • Responsibilities include designing complete sensor systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance.
  • Ongoing tasks involve simulations, tolerance analysis, material selection, regulatory compliance, and interface with suppliers.
  • The selected candidate will support technical documentation and collaborate in the creation of user manuals, application notes, and other collateral materials.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical or product design
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design
  • Membership in a Formula One Student Team is highly desirable
  • Strong aesthetic sense and expertise in CAD tools are essential
  • Familiarity with injection moulding, CNC-based metallic enclosures, NPT threads, and machined fittings is required
  • Experience with additive manufacturing and CNC basics is beneficial
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills are necessary
  • Bonus Skills: Understanding of electronics, chemistry, sensors, and packaging are valuable
