Our team is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Create scalable and maintainable software architecture, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Design and implement data platforms, leveraging AWS cloud technologies, to enhance S&P Ratings' analytics platform.
  • Mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of trust, growth, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Test-Driven Development.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise products, modern tech stacks, and data platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience contributing to application architecture and designs, with expertise in full-stack development.
  • Experience designing transactional/data warehouse/data lake integrations with Big Data ecosystem, leveraging AWS cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of distributed computing and system architecture.
  • Passionate developer with excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SAFe Agile Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Delta Lake systems, such as Databricks, using AWS cloud technologies.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior engineers.
