Job Title:

Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Description:

As a key member of our HCL Cloud Product team, you will be responsible for translating application requirements into cloud architecture and infrastructure. You will deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures using public cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities include the ability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements. You will have knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and firewalls. Additionally, you will be capable of migrating on-premises workloads to cloud service providers.

Other responsibilities include writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, or Terraform, and troubleshooting distributed systems. You will also deliver and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices, and experience in monitoring and auditing systems is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in any one of the cloud environments: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the other two platforms is desirable.
  • Experience in provisioning and configuration of cloud resources in multi-cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience with operating systems: Linux, Ubuntu, Windows.
  • Hands-on knowledge of configuration management tools: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef.
  • Strong notions of security best practices, including IAM Policies & Roles, SSL, KMS, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
